Mira Choi Tyson, L.Ac. - Acupuncturist | Acupuncture & Cupping Therapy, Columbus, Ohio 43221

“I would recommend Mira to anyone for any problem. She is so caring, helpful and the treatments work! If you have a heath issue give her a try.” Angela L.

"Mira's treatment was great as usual. She always listens carefully when I describe my pain and knows just how to take care of it. Today she used both needles and cupping therapy [to treat low back pain], and I walked out of her office feeling wonderful. The more times I visit Mira, the more I trust her to be able to help me with whatever health problems I have. I feel really lucky to have found Mira and I always recommend her to everyone." Anonymous Angie’s List Review

"I have had a number of acupuncture treatments from Mira for shoulder and wrist pain as well as for general wellness. I often fall asleep during her relaxing treatments, and I always feel much better afterwards. Mira is gentle and caring, and she takes the time to explain what she is doing and answer any questions I have. It’s obvious that Mira truly loves what she does, and she does it very well. I would highly recommend Mira to anyone who is looking for an experienced and very effective acupuncturist." Janine K.

How Acupuncture Can Help You!

Acupuncture is a safe, natural, and generally painless practice of treating a wide variety of diseases and other health issues without most of the negative side effects associated with some other forms of medical treatment. In fact, most patients find the process relaxing, and some even fall asleep during their treatments.

In addition, acupuncture can be used as a preventive measure to “balance” the body, and many people without any particular health problems schedule regular acupuncture treatments as a way to maintain their good health. Many patients have also benefited from acupuncture treatments to help them lose weight, stop smoking, or recover from various addictions.

“My eleven-year-old son started receiving acupuncture treatments several months ago for allergy induced asthma and food sensitivities. He was nervous and scared at first of the needles. Mira was patient, and talked him through the first treatment. When it was over he was very relaxed, and was not scared at all of the second treatment. Since then stomach issues have resolved and he is tolerating running better and not afraid to play tag at recess. I have also noticed him less hyper and focusing better with homework. Mira is great with my son receiving the treatment and my little one who has to attend his appointments. Mira is patient, skillful, knowledgeable and our treatments have been very successful.” Bethany P.

"I had an excellent treatment from Mira Choi Tyson. I didn't even feel most of the needles going in and definitely didn't feel a thing after they were inserted. I believe just the one treatment I had made an improvement in my pain. I am having to plead my case to my insurance as they don't want to cover acupuncture. However, the only other choices I have are surgery, epidural injections or just live with the pain. My neurosurgeon said that acupuncture would actually save the insurance company money as the other options would end up costing them more to treat me. Acupuncture is the best solution for me and I can't say enough about Mira as an acupuncturist." Sharon F.
